This was an internal display done using hand dyed and rolled paper to create a coral reef-like effect.
Shown are two separate seasonal installations in the Hugo Boss Showroom. I was a finishing artist contracted to work on the Hugo Boss jobs. For the first set of images, I was the artist who hand painted the brick effect onto a die-cut particle board. I was also instrumental in the merchandising and staging once our painting and construction was complete.
In the images following, I was a finishing artist, painter and assistant project manager working on the summer installation; a complete overhaul and change out from the previous season. We installed an ‘external’ wall with a fully functional door and windows, as well as an electronic functioning fireplace in the staged ‘living room’.
This is one example of the Tiffany & Co. 5th avenue, NYC, internal holiday display installations.
All five selling floors were decorated with various trees, custom designed and built frame work, a sleigh and various additional holiday touches.
I worked on the backdrop for Tracy Reese’s Fall 2011 NY Fashion show.
Done using different types of metal cut into a simple shape, then using different stressing techniques (bending, hammering, steel wool brush, etc.) to create a variety of textures and depth. Making for a stunning background for the models to walk in front of.
Created the backdrops and props used for the main story seen advertised on the front cover.
